They are: HARAM (Vocalist and Dancer), HARUNA (Vocalist and Dancer), MOON SUA (Rapper, Vocalist and Dancer), SHEON (Rapper, Vocalist and Dancer), SIYOON (Rapper and Dancer), SUHYEON (Vocalist and Dancer) and TSUKI (Vocalist and Dancer).
Let's know more about them.
KZ- Where does the name Billlie come from, how did you come up with it?
SIYOON :The team name "Billlie" means expressing the inner self, something everyone possesses and can relate to, as well as our "B-side," beautifully and confidently.
Through our music and concept, we wanted to share stories that resonate with people's inner side, so we chose the name "Billlie" for our team.
KZ- What are your talents besides singing and dancing?
TSUKI:I have a strong interest in drawing and fashion. If given the opportunity, it would be fun to study these areas more systematically and design album covers or style the members myself.
MOON SUA:I love to take pictures of both people and landscapes, I think that I take the pictures of our members the most. Capturing the moments when the members look their best is the moment that I genuinely enjoy, and sometimes, they even ask me to take pictures of them. If I have the chance, I would love to hold a small exhibition with my photos.
KZ- Quels sont vos talents, en dehors du chant et de la danse ?
KZ- What would you say has changed in Billlie from āRING X RINGā to now?
SUHYEON :There have been many changes, but at the same time, some things have remained the same. One of the changes is that Iāve become more skilled on stage, and my ability to quickly identify and improve on areas where Iām lacking has improved. However, thereās also something that hasnāt changedāthe amount of love on the stage. All of us members have a deep affection for the stage, so from our debut until now, weāve always done our best to show the perfect stage, so we are working hard to make the exact details, even the most minor details. Another thing that hasnāt changed is our feelings toward Belllieāve. Because of the constant support from our Belllieāve, weāve been able to stand here with a stronger heart.
HARAM :My deeper appreciation for Billlie has also brought about a positive change in teamwork. Over the past three years, as weāve spent time together, weāve understood each other deeper, making the team even stronger. I feel that our stronger cohesion is directly reflected in Billlieās performances and music. Additionally, one thing that has remained unchanged is the consistent support and love from our fans, Belllieāve. Because we have fans who are always by our side, we can step onto the stage with gratitude every single time. We will continue to work hard to repay that love with great music and performances.
KZ- Let's talk about your EP āOf All We Have Lostā.
MOON SUA :This album tells the story of "the precious things we momentarily lost." Unlike our previous albums, this means "appendix," focused more deeply on our inner side. Through our music, we aimed to express the journey of rediscovering and reclaiming the beautiful memories and precious emotions we had momentarily forgotten in our respective situations.
KZ- Parlons de votre EP Ā« Of All We Have Lost Ā».
HARUNA :I believe that everyone has different things they've forgotten or lost. However, we wanted to tell people that such experiences aren't always sad experiences. That experience can actually be a process that leads to a new beginning.
Also, there are moments when we suddenly realize how precious forgotten memories or moments are. We often think, "What did I miss?" or "What have I left behind?"
Through this album, I hope listeners will reflect on those emotions and remind them how important it is to revisit and cherish the precious things we may have overlooked.
SIYOON :For me, the "trampoline" moment was our first fan concert, 'Billlie The 1st Fan-Con' Your B, I'm B (Belllie've You).' It was a special moment for us, as it marked the first time Billlie was together as a complete group in a long time, and it was also our very first solo fan concert. We worked hard to prepare for it to honor the long-awaited promise with our fans, and the emotions I felt on stage were truly unforgettable. I grew even more through that fan concert, and it served as a solid foundation for our successful world tour. The moments when we face-to-face our fans and communicated with them will remain precious, unforgettable memories.
HARAM : I think this world tour was the definite "trampoline" moment for us, Billlie. During the preparation process, we learned and grew so much, and as we stepped onto the stage, we could directly feel how all our efforts were being conveyed to our fans. Especially the moments when we made eye contact with Belllie've from different countries, sang together, and shared the experience were unforgettable. This tour made us grow even more as a team and individually.
KZ- Of all your songs, which one is your favorite and why?
SIYOON:My favorite is 'RING ma Bell (what a wonderful world).' I love it because of the intense rock sound, which allows me to put a lot of energy into the performance. The moments I connect with the audience during the show are especially thrilling.
TSUKI:My favorite is āEUNOIAā. It's a song that highlights the members' individual personalities and chemistry. Every time we perform, people can discover new charms of us, and this point makes the stage even more enjoyable for us.
SHEON:I've been enjoying '$UN palace (Stroop effect).' The dreamy atmosphere and the sophisticated melody are so captivating that I can't help but get lost in it every time I listen.
MOON SUA:For me, it's 'nevertheless'. It's a track where the vocals stand out, so I can focus on each member's unique tones. I also love the emotional vibe of the song.
HARAM:I'd have to say 'shame' from our most recent album. It's a song with deep emotional lines, and it's easy to get immersed in it when performing. I also think the lyrics are something many people can relate to, so I feel even more attached to it.
SUHYEON:For me, it's definitely 'RING X RING,' our debut song. It holds a lot of significance as our debut track and perfectly captures Billlie's story and style, which is why I'll always have a special affection for it.
HARUNA:It's 'snowy night.' It's a song that gives off a strong winter vibe, so I naturally listen to it every winter. The performance of this song is also beautiful, so I hope everyone checks out the stage video as well.
KZ- The āOur FLOWERLD (Belllie've You)ā tour brought you to Europe. What do you like to do in a country when you are not performing? Which country surprised you the most?
SUHYEON :So many countries have left a strong impression on me, so itās hard to choose just one. If given the chance, Iād love to stay in each country for a few days and experience the daily life. During this tour, the time we spent in each city was short due to the concert schedule, so I regret not having enough time to enjoy the cities fully. Next time, Iād like to travel with the members, explore leisurely, and search for good restaurants. Most importantly, Iād love to spend more time in the countries of our fans and immerse myself in their culture more deeply. Based on those experiences, I hope that when we meet again, Iāll be able to connect with our fans in an even more meaningful way.
TSUKI :Every European country and city has a unique charm, so choosing just one is quite tough. During the day, the architecture was incredibly beautiful, and in the evening, the night views were stunning. (laughs) Outside of the performances, Iād love to travel with the members and have more diverse experiences. In particular, there are so many lovely cafes in Europe. Although we visited a few during the tour, next time, Iād like to set aside time to visit several cafes and enjoy the famous teas and desserts they offer. Above all, I want to experience more of the places and cultures our fans love and create moments to share those memories. I believe doing that will allow us to have deeper and more varied conversations when we meet again.
KZ- We haven't had the opportunity to see you in Spain, what would you say to the Spanish Belllie've?
SUHYEON :To the Belllieāve in Spain who have always supported us from afar, thank you so much! We eagerly await the day when we can meet you in person and perform on stage for you. Weāll do our best to visit you soon, so please hang in there and wait just a little longer!
HARUNA :To the Belllieāve in Spain, Iām really looking forward to the day when we can share our energy on stage and enjoy the performance together. Itās a shame we couldnāt meet this time, but we will do our best to visit you soon! Please wait a little longer, and in the meantime, weād appreciate all your support for Billlie.
KZ- What are your plans for 2025, how far do you want to go?
SIYOON:We have a lot of plans for 2025! (laughs) First, I hope we can all stay healthy and enjoy our promotions together. Since we plan to visit various places, including Korea, we aim to meet everyone with even better songs and performances. It would make me so happy to have a chance to perform at year-end award shows in Korea and at international award ceremonies. Iām especially looking forward to meeting fans in countries we havenāt visited yet. I really want to go to Spain, too!
SHEON :This year, I want to grow personally and as a team. I want to show our unique color as Billlie even more clearly and create more opportunities to connect with our fans. Through the world tour, Iāve realized how precious the moments are when weāre on stage with our fans, receiving so much love. So, I hope to perform in many more places, and since weāve received so much love from Spain, I hope we can have the chance to greet our fans there this year.
KZ- Quels sont vos projets pour 2025, jusqu'oĆ¹ voulez-vous aller ?
KZ- If you had to introduce Billlie to get people to follow you, how would you do it? What does the band have that others don't?
MOON SUA :Billlie is a group with a 'story.' Every album is based on the narrative story, and all elementsāmusic, performance, and story filmsāare organically connected. It's not just about listening to the songs, and you'll be able to enjoy the experience of following a story and connecting with it.
TSUKI :One of Billlie's strengths is the performance. We don't just show dance and singing, but we try to present something new with every stage, matching the atmosphere of each song. Every member pays close attention to the smallest details, like gestures and expressions, while preparing for the performance. Once you watch us, it's easy to get drawn in. We constantly think about how to effectively express the song's message and ensure the audience feels the energy. That's why I believe you'll always discover a new charm in Billlie's performances.
HARAM :And Billlie is really great with teamwork. (laughs) We have different personalities but come together on stage and create greater synergy. The way our unique colors harmonize while keeping our individuality is, I think, what makes Billlieās unique charm.
