Interview with/avec LUMINOUS

LUMINOUS (루미너스) is a group whose first two members left the PRODUCE X 101 programme, signing with DS ENtertainment, but the relationship did not work out and they ended up with WIP Company, to which they added two more members.
Its members are: Young Bin (Leader, Vocalist and Dancer), Steven (Vocalist, Rapper and Dancer), Su Il (Rapper, Vocalist and Dancer) and the maknae Woo Bin (Vocalist and Dancer).
They made their pre-debut on 19 August 2021 with the mini-album Dreaming LUMINOUS.
The official debut came on 9 September 2021 with the mini-album YOUTH

LUMINOUS (루미너스) est un groupe dont les deux premiers membres ont quitté l'émission PRODUCE X 101, signant avec DS ENtertainment, mais la relation n'a pas fonctionné et ils se sont retrouvés avec WIP Company, à laquelle ils ont ajouté deux autres membres.
Ses membres sont : Young Bin (leader, vocaliste et danseur), Steven (vocaliste, rappeur et danseur), Su Il (rappeur, vocaliste et danseur) et le maknae Woo Bin (vocaliste et danseur).
Ils ont fait leur pré-début le 19 août 2021 avec le mini-album Dreaming LUMINOUS.

KZ- How did you get into the music industry?

-Youngbin: When I saw the performances of the seniors on the music show, I thought I wanted to be on a stage like that, so I auditioned publicly.
-Su Il: When I was really young, I accidentally watched a music show at my grandmother's house and I remember dancing along because it was so cool. I think I've been trying to walk this path since then.
-Steven: I enjoyed listening to k-pop with my sisters when I was young, and since then, I have entered the music industry.
-Woo Bin: When I was young, I had a chance to sing in front of people, and that stage was so impressive to me. Maybe I started working in the music industry since then.

KZ- Comment êtes-vous entrée dans l'industrie musicale ?

-Youngbin : Quand j'ai vu les performances des seniors dans l'émission musicale, j'ai pensé que je voulais être sur une scène comme celle-là, alors j'ai auditionné en public.
-Su Il : Quand j'étais très jeune, j'ai regardé par hasard une émission musicale chez ma grand-mère et je me souviens avoir dansé avec elle parce que c'était vraiment cool.
-Steven : J'aimais écouter de la k-pop avec mes sœurs quand j'étais jeune, et depuis, je suis entré dans l'industrie musicale.
-Woo Bin : Quand j'étais jeune, j'ai eu la chance de chanter devant des gens, et cette scène était si impressionnante pour moi. J'ai peut-être commencé à travailler dans l'industrie de la musique depuis lors.

KZ- Where does the name of LUMINOUS come from?

L- Our team name Luminous means the light that shines the most in the darkness.
When the four of us gather together, we shine brighter and more diversely.
To be remembered as the brightest light for you, we named our team Luminous.

KZ- D'où vient le nom de LUMINOUS ?

L- Le nom de notre équipe, Luminous, signifie la lumière qui brille le plus dans l'obscurité.
Lorsque nous sommes tous les quatre réunis, nous brillons davantage et de manière plus diversifiée.
Pour que l'on se souvienne de nous comme de la lumière la plus brillante pour vous, nous avons nommé notre équipe Luminous.

KZ- You made a pre-debut with your mini album "Dreaming LUMINOUS" in August 2021. Tell us about your experiences, behind-the-scenes, and choreography.

L- It rained a lot when we filmed the music video, and we were all praying for it to stop raining, but it stopped raining. It was really fascinating.

KZ- Vous avez fait un pré-début avec votre mini album "Dreaming LUMINOUS" en août 2021. Parlez-nous de vos expériences, des coulisses et de la chorégraphie.

L- Il pleuvait beaucoup lorsque nous avons filmé le clip, et nous priions tous pour qu'il cesse de pleuvoir, mais il a cessé de pleuvoir.C'était vraiment fascinant.

KZ- You officially debuted with your mini album "YOUTH" in September 2021. What was the hardest and most fun part?

L- Maybe this includes both hard and fun things, but the most impressive thing is that we practiced 30 times every day in a row for the live performance of "YOUTH" title song "RUN".

KZ- Vous avez officiellement débuté avec votre mini album "YOUTH" en septembre 2021. Quelle a été la partie la plus difficile et la plus amusante ?

L- Peut-être que cela inclut à la fois des choses difficiles et amusantes, mais la chose la plus impressionnante est que nous nous sommes entraînés 30 fois chaque jour d'affilée pour la performance live de la chanson titre de "YOUTH" "RUN".

KZ- What's your favorite song and why?

L- Of course, the title song "RUN" is good, but we like the song "Home Alone".
The lyrics are really relatable and the melody is so good that it's a song that we cherish. Haha

KZ- Quelle est votre chanson préférée et pourquoi ?

L- Bien sûr, la chanson titre "RUN" est bonne, mais nous aimons la chanson "Home Alone".
Les paroles sont vraiment racontables et la mélodie est si bonne que c'est une chanson que nous chérissons. Haha

KZ- Which one is harder, singing or dancing?

-Young Bin - Personally, while preparing for this song, both were difficult. It was too difficult to make the song feel right, and it was too difficult to make the dance feel right. I still feel overwhelmed.

KZ- Lequel est le plus difficile, chanter ou danser ?

-Young Bin - Personnellement, pendant la préparation de cette chanson, les deux étaient difficiles. Il était trop difficile de faire en sorte que la chanson soit juste, et il était trop difficile de faire en sorte que la danse soit juste. Je me sens toujours dépassée.

KZ- If you could collaborate with another artist, who would you like to collaborate with?

-Youngbin- My role model is Baekhyun, and I want to try anything if I don't cause any harm.
-Woo bin- If I have a chance, I want to collaborate with Kang Seung-yoon.
If I collaborate with Kang Seung-yoon, I think it will be an opportunity to learn a lot.

KZ- Si vous pouvez collaborer avec un autre artiste, avec qui aimerais-vous collaborer ?

-Youngbin- Mon modèle est Baekhyun, et je veux tout essayer si je ne fais pas de mal.
-Woobin- Si j'ai une chance, je veux collaborer avec Kang Seung-yoon.
Si je collabore avec Kang Seung-yoon, je pense que ce sera l'occasion d'apprendre beaucoup de choses.

KZ- Tell us about your hopes and dreams.

L- With our songs, you can comfort and sympathize with the pain of many people.
I hope many people cheer up by listening to our songs.

KZ- Parlez-nous de vos espoirs et de vos rêves.

L- Avec nos chansons, vous pouvez réconforter et compatir à la douleur de nombreuses personnes.
