Interview with/avec W24

W24 wants to mean “World 24 hours”.
They make a pre-debut February 4th 2018 with the single Love Me.
Kim Jong Jil (leader and drums), Chung Ho Won (Vocal), Kim Yun Soo (Guitar), Aaron Park (Keyboard) and the maknae Park Ji Won (Bass) made their debut 8th march 2018 with the mini album Singing Dancing whit J Army Entertainment.
We wanna know something about them.

W24 veut dire "World 24 hours".
Ils font un pré-début le 4 février 2018 avec le single Love Me.
Kim Jong Jil (Leader et Batterie), Chung Ho Won (Chant), Kim Yun Soo (Guitare), Aaron Park (Clavier) et le maknae Park Ji Won (Basse) ont fait leurs débuts le 8 mars 2018 avec le mini album Singing Dancing whit J Army Entertainment.
Nous voulons savoir quelque chose sur eux.

KZ- When do you decide that the music will be your job?

W24- Since middle school Yunsoo, Jonggil, Aaron, and Jiwon were all into music and they naturally thought it was going to something they would be doing as a job sooner or later. For Howon, it was different. He was never thinking about working with music but after joining the team he knows thinks of it as a job.

KZ- Quand décidez-vous que la musique sera votre travail ?

W24- Depuis le collège, Yunsoo, Jonggil, Aaron et Jiwon étaient tous des passionnés de musique et ils pensaient naturellement que tôt ou tard, ce serait un métier. Pour Howon, c'était différent. Il n'a jamais pensé à travailler dans le domaine de la musique, mais après avoir rejoint l'équipe, il sait que c'est un travail.

KZ- What are your skills beyond singing and playing instruments?

W24- For Aaron, he has some make-up skills. He learned a lot from our make-up artist.
For Jiwon, he knows how to cook. Lastly, for Howon, he knows three languages so he can translate with ease.

KZ- Quelles sont vos compétences au-delà du chant et des instruments ?

W24- Pour Aaron, il a quelques compétences en maquillage. Il a beaucoup appris de notre maquilleur.
Pour Jiwon, il sait comment cuisiner. Enfin, pour Howon, il connaît trois langues, ce qui lui permet de traduire facilement.

KZ- How much has changed W24 till Singing Dancing album?

W24- Since our first album "Singing Dancing", we've had many experiences and we believe these experiences has helped us develop and grow both musically and personally.

KZ- Qu'est-ce qui a changé dans W24 par rapport à l'album Singing Dancing ?

W24- Depuis notre premier album "Singing Dancing", nous avons vécu de nombreuses expériences et nous pensons que ces expériences nous ont aidés à nous développer et à grandir tant musicalement que personnellement.

KZ- You won Focus Award in Asia Artist Awards 2018. Tell us about your impressions.

W24- Thinking about it again now, it feels like a dream and a prize that was too much for a group like us. We are so grateful, which is why we want to try harder for our family and our fans to recieve more prizes.

KZ- You a remporté le Focus Award in Asia Artist Awards 2018. Faites-nous part de vos impressions.

W24- En y repensant maintenant, c'est comme un rêve et un prix qui était de trop pour un groupe comme nous. Nous sommes si reconnaissants, c'est pourquoi nous voulons faire plus d'efforts pour que notre famille et nos fans reçoivent plus de prix.

KZ- If you could collaborate with another artist, who would you like to be and why?

W24- We would like to work with G-idle. They have a big musical spectrum and believe it would be cool to work with them. Big fan.
We would like to work with Mamamoo. They are amazing vocalists so working with a band would probably bring out even a bigger energy.
Last, we would like to collaborate with Peppertones. We respect them a lot and believe working with them musically would be fun.

KZ- Si vous pouviez collaborer avec un autre artiste, qui aimeriez-vous être et pourquoi ?

W24- Nous aimerions travailler avec G-idle. Elles ont un large spectre musical et pensent que ce serait cool de travailler avec eux. Nous sommes grands fans.
Nous aimerions travailler avec Mamamoo. Ce sont des chanteurs incroyables, donc travailler avec un groupe ferait probablement ressortir une énergie encore plus grande.
Enfin, nous aimerions collaborer avec Peppertones. Nous les respectons beaucoup et nous pensons qu'il serait amusant de travailler avec eux sur le plan musical

KZ- If you weren’t musicians, what would you like to do?

W24- Each member is different:
Aaron - Marketing
Yunsoo - Civil Service
JongGil - Free lancer
Howon - Coffee shop owner
Jiwon - Furniture Designer

KZ- Si vous n'étiez pas musiciens, que souhaiteriez-vous faire ?

W24- Chaque membre est différent:
Aaron - Marketing
Yunsoo - Fonction publique
JongGil - Free lancer
Howon - Propriétaire d'un café
Jiwon - Concepteur de meubles

KZ- When it is possible, at what country would you go in tour?

W24- We would love to tour around Asia, America, Europe. Basically all around the world just like our name!

KZ- Lorsque c'est possible, dans quel pays iriez-vous en tournée ?

W24- Nous aimerions faire une tournée en Asie, en Amérique, en Europe. En gros, tout autour du monde, tout comme notre nom !

KZ- Tell us about your hopes and dreams.

W24- We wish for the pandemic to end so that we can tour around the world and let people know about our music.

KZ- Parlez-nous de vos espoirs et de vos rêves.

W24- Nous souhaitons que la pandémie prenne fin afin que nous puissions tourner dans le monde entier et faire connaître notre musique.

KZ- Say something to international Every.

W24- To all the EVERYS in the world!
